Rights and Reproductions

CAAM does not permit the reproduction of any material on this website or on display in the museum. We make exceptions for limited non-commercial, educational, and personal use only, or for fair use as defined by copyright law.

CAAM cannot extend rights to reproduce materials to which the museum does not hold copyright, such as items from private collections. Any permissions granted by the museum extend only to items to which the museum holds full rights of reproduction.

Images from CAAM’s collection may not be used for publication or commercial use without prior written permission from the museum. Items donated to our collection may include donor requirements for copying or duplication, and all uses of those materials must conform to the donation agreements. All materials must be properly credited and cited, with reference and source information attached. Cropping, altering, or defacing of materials in reproduction is not permitted without express written permission from the museum. Uses that defame, change intent or meaning, or that compete or detract from any work on exhibition at CAAM are not permitted.

For more information, please contact CAAM's Registrar, Susan Guadamuz, at sguadamuz@caamuseum.org.
