Curvature: Lines and Shapes represents the expressive figurative illustrations by two emerging artists, Michael Kilgore and Anthony "Eve" Kemp. Their artistic styles include the influences of Fauvism, Expressionism and Cubism. These varied artworks of bold and simplistic lines to colorful and detailed patterns and shapes celebrate and highlight elements of history, physical features and family connections, often associated with African Americans or in the lives of the artists. This will be their first exhibition at a major museum in Los Angeles.
