Question Bridge: Black Males
January 16 – June 15, 2014
Artists Chris Johnson, Hank Willis Thomas, Kamal Sinclair and Bayeté Ross Smith collected question and answer videos from 150 men of different social, economic, political, and generational backgrounds to explore the full spectrum of what it means to be "Black" and "male" in America. They molded this rich content into an insightful, provocative and entertaining video installation on themes that divide, unite, and puzzle Black males in the United States.
