Rhythm of Vision: The Artistry of Overton Loyd

March 17 – September 18, 2016

Overton Loyd is an artist and illustrator widely known for designing a variety of caricatures and album covers, most notably for George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic collective. Rhythm of Vision: The Artistry of Overton Loyd is the first exhibition to reveal the full trajectory of Loyd’s complex and varied practice in painting, drawing, illustration, and album cover design. The exhibition features more than fifty works and celebrates a career that now spans four decades.
