Mario Moore | Enshrined: Presence + Preservation brings together work from throughout the artist’s career—including paintings from The Work of Several Lifetimes (2019), a series created with the support of Princeton University’s esteemed Hodder Fellowship, as well as two new portraits painted especially for this presentation at CAAM. On opening day of the exhibition, Moore and exhibition curator Taylor Renee Aldridge discuss preservation, Moore's commitment to documenting essential workers, and his long-term interest in depicting rest and work.
