In conjunction with Gary Simmons: Fade to Black, a diverse group of emerging and established artists of color will participate in a program devoted to images, texts, and film about cultural erasure and displacement from the new online publication, RACE/d: A Journal for You, edited by Kat Sayarath. The evening will include a screening of two short films by Theresa Hak Kyung Cha, whose work inspired the journal, and readings and discussions with contributors Angel Dominguez, Phung Huynh, Tiffany Lin, Ari Laurel, Paul Pescador, Marton Robinson, and Karen Tei Yamashita.
